My trip to Guadalajara, my experience.
My friend Paul and I left Puerto Vallarta on a Sunday around from 9 AM and we made a technical stopover in Chacala, which is a town that is about 3 hours from Puerto Vallarta, after a delicious meal on the beach, around many families; After our rich lunch, we continue the adventure towards Guadalajara.
We arrived at the Fiesta Americana Grand Country Club Hotel, which had an excellent location, according to my friend Sandra who was travelling with us that location was one of the most influential financial districts in Guadalajara.
On Monday, we visit Tlaquepaque, an area where if you want to buy furniture for your home or business, this is the place to go; I think there are many options, from the most minimalist to those with the Mexican touch, we walked around 3 hours, entering and leaving the stores, we ate snow. That same night we went to dinner at a restaurant called Corazon de Alcachofa, contemporary Mexican cuisine with a very relaxed and even romantic atmosphere.
The next day, we went to visit more decoration shops around Guadalajara, at the end we stopped at Plaza Andares; which is also one of the hot spots in Guadalajara, that same night we had dinner at a restaurant called Bruna, also of contemporary Mexican cuisine, what I remember that we ate there was a tuna sashimi, a plate of 7 moles and tortillas pink corn; Paul doesn't eat tortillas, but those were the exception.
Actually, it was an excellent experience, I think it was the first one I enjoyed a lot, it allowed me to know Guadalajara in another way and with more time.
The trip from Puerto Vallarta to Guadalajara I think it was like 6 hours, the same back.
